ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director will work with the Director, Christopher Fülling, planning and running rehearsals.  As Mr. Fülling will probably sing in the show, the Assistant Director will often function as the director.

Experience:
Fine arts education and some directing experience required.  Energy and flexibility required.  Strong background in visual design and lighting strongly preferred.  SF Bay Area resident preferred but not required.

2007 Now – July 15 Part-time from any location July 16 - Aug 19 Full-time in SF Bay Area Aug 20 - Sep 4 Full-time in Black Rock City, NV

2008 Sept 5 – Dec 21 Part-time from any location Jan 1 – Summer Full-time on tour

VIDEOPROJECTION DIRECTOR

Responsibilities:
Videographer or photographer responsible for conceiving and executing all projected imagery in the Show. The Videoprojection Director will select and manage her/his own team of videographers/photographers, and work closely with the other design managers to convey the various moods of the playa – excited, overwhelming, otherworldy, subdued, melancholy, seductive, etc. This could extend into the position of Projection Rigger on tour.

Experience:
Experienced artist with terrific portfolio/samples required. Immersive installation/show experience preferred.

CHOREOGRAPHER

Responsibilities:
The choreographer is responsible for developing movement and choreography for all characters and groups in the show.  Possibility to extend contract and salary as a Dancer during Tour May-June 2008.

Experience:
Creative dancer/performance artist comfortable with multiple dance styles, collaborative material development, and working with non-trained dancers.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Responsibilities:
The Technical Director is responsible for coordinating and implementing the technical needs of the various aspects of the show and the event. The Technical Director will select and manage her/his own team, and work closely with the Tour Manager and Stage Manager.

Experience:
 Technical direction experience required.  Certifications a plus.  Tertiary performance skills (singing, dancing, acting, playing a band instrument, willingness to interact with audience in costume) a plus.
